The VechainThor mobile Wallet has been released in the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. Vechain has stated that it would release the mobile wallets on July 9th, so this release two days ahead of schedule comes as a surprise to many.

Both apps have been uploaded by the official Vechain account, so we can confirm that these wallets are the real deal.

After installation of the iOS app, you get a message that the wallet is coming soon and you can’t use it yet. However, the Android app doesn’t have this lockdown yet, allowing everyone to check out the various options of the VechainThor Wallet.

VechainThor mobile wallet functions

The VechainThor Wallet is a light mobile wallet app. It aims to provide users with a powerful, secure, simple, fully functional portal of the VechainThor blockchain.
The main functions of the mobile wallet include: VET, VTHO and other crypto assets management, X Node transfer, wallet observation, reward claim, etc.

Transfer X Node to VechainThor Wallet

X Node participants are able to transfer X Node from Ethereum wallet (e.g. MEW) to VechainThor wallet by using X Node Transfer Service. Please complete node transfer before the deadline announced by Vechain Foundation.

Since the release is yet to be announced and officially released we advise everyone to wait before using the mobile wallet.

The mobile wallets support native VechainThor VET & VTHO tokens only, if you send your ERC-20 VEN tokens to this wallet they will be lost forever.

The token swap service will be available in the wallet at the end of this month, with various crypto exchanges offering tokens wap services in the next few weeks.
