The vechain team held a web3 for Sustainability Masterclass in Jacksonville Florida in the weekend of June 24th, 2023.
During the two-day event, attendees could meet with the leaders of the vechain foundation development team, as well as pitch their ideas for grants to help launch their idea on the vechain blockchain.

The day started with the key takeaways of the new vechain whitepaper called “Web 3.0 for Better”, which explains how projects and companies can use blockchain technology to make the world more sustainable.

After this, the team gave an update on the latest developments in terms of the tools and services that can be used to build on the vechain blockchain. Attending devs got shown how they can use popular Ethereum dev tools like Hardhat and Remix to build dApps on the vechain blokchain. The Dublin based vechain foundation development team also showcased their latest wallet called veworld, explaining how projects can interact with this new wallet.

The day concluded with a session about vechain’s latest service for builders called VORJ. VORJ is a web3-as-a-service application that allows builders to deploy smart contracts, like for example tokens, on the vechain blockchain without the need for any coding or developer’s knowledge.
