The LVMH Innovation award
Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, better known as LVMH, is the world biggest conglomerate in the Luxury goods industry, with over 70 brands under its label like Dom Perignon, Moët & Chandon, Sephora, Dior, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and TAG Heuer.
The LVMH Innovation Award celebrates new ideas and is open to any startup created within the past five years with a valuation of under $100 million, fewer than 50 employees, and whose solutions are relevant to the challenges addressed by the LVMH Group and its Maisons.
The winner of the Award will get a chance to pitch their solution to the LVMH management as well as get help from LVMH to develop their solution together with one of the group’s brands.
Over 800 startups applied to try and win this award, with startups in various categories, ranging from retail, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, sustainability to blockchain solutions.
Earlier in April, LVMH already announced that VeChain was selected as part of the Top 30, earning them a chance to pitch their solution to professionals and the public during the Viva Technology show.
LVMH and VeChain
Even though VeChain did not take first place, being part of the Top 30 already was massive. Earning VeChain some great exposure to the 70.000+ visitors of the Viva technology show.
Next to this, VeChain is already working together with Givenchy, one of the brands in the LVMH group, to develop its anti-counterfeiting solution in one of Givenchy’s product lines.
